Quick question. Are the West German plant pots really common?

Some are as they're still made and sold in garden centres and suchlike.  I bought a pink one not too long ago, and my local DIY place has a wide range of them too.

I purchased an 806-17 just recently as I want a plant for my desk at work and wanted a decent plant pot. Look no further than West German of course! Smiley

I have been googling 'how to date West German pottery' but either I am having a completely blond moment or am just a dill. Probably a combo of both. The information seems convaluted to me and seems that you need a rocket science degree to do this. Can you date this stuff or is it impossible?

So here is new pot plant holder... Grin

Am going to buy the Mark Hill book in a few months as I want a few good West German pieces. This one is for my desk at work. Not sure if it is old but if it isn't, it does not matter. I like they look.  Cheers
