I love this design, but I can't make out the name on the base, as it is covered in thick white glaze. It has a label that says "Made in Sweden" and signed with a mongram that says either MB or NB? Hope someone can recognize this style or artist!
Thanks for any help you can give,
Vickie

I think you have the middle impressed mark upside down.  Wink

Have a look at this mark on this vase here....

It looks like it's Laholm Pottery then.

Hi Tigerchips,
Thankyou for solving the mystery! I have been looking on the net for more about the designer NB, but I can't find a name for them yet! Are Lanholm Pottery still going?
Thanks again

The inside (bottom center) mark look the exact same as what TC said/found.  I too would think it it LAHOLM Pottery

Here's a  very good link for ID'ing Swedish ceramics. Scroll down to Laholm and then run the text through Google Language tools.
It won't be perfect but it'll give you a good idea of the history. If I can help, give me a shout   Smiley

I doubt if you'll get much help there Rose, it's for selling stuff, not identifying it. But well done on sniffing it out! Can help with translations if needed,
